697 PATIENTS WITH PARKINSONISM AND THEIR CAREGIVERS: A PROTOCOL FOR THE PRIME-UK CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY

Abstract Introduction People with parkinsonism (PwP) are a highly heterogeneous group and the condition encompasses spectrum of motor nonmotor symptoms which variably emerge manifest across disease course, fluctuate over time negatively impact quality life. Whilst is not directly result ageing, it that mostly affects older people, who may also be living frailty multimorbidity. This study aims to describe broad range PwP in relation their symptomatology, disability, health needs, stage, comorbidities sociodemographics. Methods In this cross-sectional study, performed at one site, (excluding those drug-induced parkinsonism) will sent information pack for themselves primary informal caregiver, if relevant. Data collected via questionnaire, additional support required maximise participation. A specific strategy has been developed target proactively recruit patients lacking capacity consent, including residential care settings, input from personal consultee prior completion bespoke questionnaire by representative. Caregivers recruited look various outcomes. Results Our outcome frequency outcomes (e.g. depression) how they cluster together.
